Unirac Inc., a provider of infrastructure for solar power systems, says it has achieved International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 14001:2004 certification for environmental management systems (EMS).
This certification demonstrates that the Unirac EMS complies with environmental laws and regulations, and adheres to documented processes and procedures to implement, maintain and improve the EMS governing the manufacture of Unirac solar mount solutions.
Certification for ISO 14001:2004 signifies that Unirac undertakes waste-management via recycling initiatives, practices smart consumption of energy and materials, undertakes better use of natural resources, has adequate processes in place to manage environmental issues that might arise, and continually makes improvements to minimize any harmful effects on the environment caused by its activities.
