American solar and wind energy companies interested in doing business with or learning from their German counterparts are being invited to attend German American Renewable Energy Day, which will be held on Nov. 12 at the Abilene Civic Center in Abilene, Texas.
The event will include presentations by leading figures in Germany's renewable energy industry. Among those scheduled to attend are Claudia Grotz, policy advisor with the German Wind Energy Association; Elmar Niewerth, CEO of Think Solar Corp., Gerhard Stryi-Hipp, managing director of the German Solar Industry Association; and Torsten Scholl, CEO of Omniwatt AG.
