Upsolar, a provider of solar PV modules, says it is now offering a suite of testing, auditing and consultation services to local organizations in an effort to strengthen technical support for emerging PV companies.
From its laboratory located in Shanghai, Upsolar can provide clients with component and module testing in compliance with International Electrotechnical Commission standards. Current offerings include evaluations on electrical safety, bypass diodes, wet leakage currents and insulation. The technology division is also equipped for durability testing, where products are exposed to extreme environments, including high temperatures, UV acceleration, excessive humidity and mechanical stresses.
Outside the lab, Upsolar engineers are now available for consultation services ranging from on-site PV plant inspection to comprehensive operational assessments.
