The U.S. Embassy in Tokyo has selected ABC Solar Japan for a rooftop PV project. ABC Solar will provide solar integration services for research, design, automated documentation generation, application processing and submission for feed-in-tariff (FIT) revenue.
The embassy's system features 900 Suniva OPT265-60-4-100 monocrystalline solar panels connected directly to the grid to generate energy that is sold directly to Japanese utility TEPCO via a power purchase agreement in collaboration with the FIT program. According to ABC Solar, the system is expected to generate 321,100 kWh annually.
