U.S. Navy Seeks RE Proposals

0

The U.S. Navy's Specialty Center Acquisition NAVFAC (SCAN) office in Port Hueneme, Calif., plans to award up to five, indefinite-quantity, indefinite-delivery, fixed-price multiple award contracts for the purchase of competitively priced renewable electrical power through power purchase agreements at Naval and Marine Corps installations in the NAVFAC Southwest AOR.

The contracts will be awarded using a best-value competitive source selection process. Successful contract awardees will be given a fair opportunity to compete on all task orders. There will be no pre-established firm-fixed contract prices.

The government seeks to acquire competitively priced electric power generated from renewable power systems that are constructed, owned, operated, maintained and repaired by the successful offerer(s) on government property located within the installation boundaries. The government is not seeking to purchase or retain any renewable energy credits or ownership of the power plant at the end of the contract term.
