Valsolar, Cavalum Commission 8 MW Of Solar In Extremadura

0

Spanish company Vasolar and its Portuguese business partner, Cavalum, have inaugurated four solar parks in Extremadura, Spain, delivering a total output of 8 MW. The tracking systems produce an average of 26 GWh of energy per year.

Valsolar and Cavalum will receive the higher Spanish feed-in tariff for solar installations commissioned before the end of September. The tariff guarantees a higher payment for installations of up to 100 kW, so the companies have divided the four solar parks into smaller systems, each with an output of 100 kW.

Valsolar and Cavalum notes that the installations feature 100 kW SolarMax central inverters from Sputnik Engineering.
