SmartSpark Energy Systems, an energy middleware provider and developer, has named Ron Van Dell its new president and chief executive officer. Van Dell will lead the launch of the company's latest product – SolarBridge, an integrated micro-inverter.
Most recently, Van Dell served as president and CEO at Primarion, a mixed signal semiconductor company, which was acquired by Infineon Technologies in April. Before joining Primarion, he served as president and CEO at Legerity and in senior management positions at Dell, Harris Semiconductor, Groupe Schneider, Square D Co. and General Electric.
