Voltwerk electronics GmbH, a Germany-based manufacturer of string and central inverters, tracking systems and facility monitoring systems, has introduced the VS series of three-phase string inverters. The new models are now available in 8 kW, 11 kW and 15 kW versions.
According to the company, the inverters reach a peak efficiency level of 98%. The new models feature 1,000 V input voltage, permitting maximum-length strings and effective PV module wiring. The large input voltage range allows the greatest possible flexibility in the wiring of the modules, the company says.
‘These three performance levels complete our portfolio of string inverters,’ says Steffen Elster, head of product management at Voltwerk. ‘All devices have IP 65 protection and can be used in nearly all environments.’
