Wagner & Co., a German manufacturer of solar thermal collectors, has introduced its EURO C20 AR-M collector to the U.S. market. The company says the flat-plate collector features anti-reflection glass, with an etched-in nano surface, as well as an ultrasonic welded copper absorber with a vacuum coating.
The collector meets the Solar Rating and Certification Corp.'s OG 100 standard, Wagner says, and the company has signed an agreement with a Florida-based solar company under which Wagner will become an original equipment manufacturer.
Wagner opened its U.S. subsidiary, Wagner Solar Inc., in Massachusetts this spring.
