Washington Gas Energy Systems has signed a contract with the Dorchester County Public School System (DCPS) and Kenyon Energy to build, own and operate a 3,276-panel, 803 kW ground-mounted solar array for Mace's Lane Middle School in Cambridge, Md.
The annual output of the installation is expected to total 1,108 MWh. Washington Gas Energy Systems will own and operate the array under a 20-year power purchase agreement.
Completion is expected by the end of the year.
