Westwood Professional Services Inc., a national energy and land development consultant, has opened a new office in Portland, Ore. Rick Haglund, director of project development, will relocate to lead the effort of building business in the West.
‘The opportunities in the western U.S. for wind, solar and transmission projects are rapidly increasing, and it will not be too long before land development projects start up again,’ says Dwight Jelle, president of Westwood. ‘With this expansion, we are positioned to be more accessible and responsive to the needs of our national customers.’
The office is scheduled to open on Jan. 2, 2009.
