In Delano, Calif., WGL Energy Systems and BayWa r.e. have completed a 1.12 MW solar PV project to power the city’s wastewater treatment plant.
WGL Energy owns and operates the solar installation under a 24-year power purchase agreement, and BayWa r.e. developed the project, providing engineering, procurement and construction services. The array consists of 3,640 solar panels installed across seven acres of property owned by the city of Delano.
