Winaico, a subsidiary of Taiwan-based solar module manufacturer Win Win Precision Technology Co. Ltd., has made its WST-series of solar modules available for use in commercial and large-scale solar projects.
The WST-series is available in either 245 W or 250 W and features a silver 35 mm single-walled frame and a new junction box. The minimum order size is 40.5 kW. It differs from Winaico WSP-series in that it has only a 10-year product warranty.
"In the past, we only used our WST-series for selected projects," says Marc Ortmanns, head of European sales and marketing at Winaico, adding that the modules are intended for large-scale systems where price is a factor.
