Germany-based solar project developer Wirsol plans to build its first PV plants in China under the direction of newly established subsidiary Wirsol Solar Technology (Beijing) Ltd. Initial projects are expected to total 20 MW in output.
Wirsol is partnering with PV module manufacturer Suntech on the projects, which will be built in China's Qinghai province. The country currently offers a solar feed-in tariff of 12 eurocents/kWh, Wirsol notes.
