XsunX Inc., a solar technology company preparing to launch the buildout of its planned 100 MW thin-film module manufacturing facilities, has signed an additional 36 MW of module purchase commitments within its Solar Module Pre-Sales Reservation Program, bringing total reservations to approximately 145 MW for delivery over the 2009-2011 production years.
The program, the company says, allows solar system integrators, installers, green-field operators and utilities to specify the amount of solar module capacity they plan to purchase at favorable pricing.
‘We are pleased with the interest in and results of our pre-sales reservation program,’ says Tom Djokovich, XsunX's CEO. ‘We are working hard to establish our manufacturing facilities and to begin production in order to fulfill our module reservations.’
