Yes! Solar, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Solar Power Inc., has executed a franchise agreement with The McCarthy/Myers Investment Group to launch a Yes! Solar Solutions franchise to serve Orange County, Calif. – the first solar franchise it has sold in California.
The territory covers approximately 800 square miles and is home to about 625,000 owner-occupied dwellings and many commercial enterprises, the company says.
As the company continues to roll out its franchise plan, it will seek to centrally locate additional retail franchise operations within communities where economic factors make solar power attractive. Yes! energy outlets will be designed to educate consumers and businesses on the economic and environmental benefits of solar power and provide solutions that will help them reduce their electricity costs.
