Yingli Green Energy Holding Co. Ltd. has inked an agreement to supply 27.5 MW of multicrystalline PV modules for a solar power plant in Israel.
Yingli Green Energy says the solar farm, which has been designated as a national infrastructure project, has been granted conditional feed-in tariff approval from the Israeli public utilities authority.
‘This supply agreement builds upon our long-standing relationship with Ledico Ltd., our local distribution partner in Israel,’ says Liansheng Miao, chairman and CEO of Yingli Green Energy. ‘We view Israel as an important and sustainable growth market with the potential to reach more than 340 MW of installed solar PV capacity in 2014.’
