Yingli Green Energy says that, according to preliminary data, the company expects its PV module shipments for the fourth quarter of 2012 to reach a new historical high.
Therefore, module shipments for full-year 2012 is expected to be more than 2.2 GW, beating the high end of Yingli's full-year shipment guidance of 2.1 GW to 2.2 GW. Liansheng Miao, chairman and CEO, adds that he also believes Yingli has ‘evolved into the world's largest PV module supplier,’ based on public data.
