Yingli Green Energy Holding Co. Ltd. is supplying 66 MW of its multicrystalline modules to U.K.-based renewable energy developer Push Energy Ltd. for four large-scale PV power plants.
The four sites, located in East Anglia, U.K., are expected to be completed by February 2015. Push Energy, which specializes in rural solar development, says the power from the projects will be supplied to the grid for local use.
‘Solar PV farms have an important role to play in the U.K.'s long-term energy security,’ says Jason Wallis, finance director of Push Energy.
