Zager Plumbing & Solar Inc., based in Deerfield Beach, Fla., has completed a solar hot water system at the Westin Dawn Beach Resort & Spa, located in St. Maarten N.A. The 4,000-gallon system will service the 317 guest rooms, restaurants, laundry facilities, spa, and hotel restrooms.
The system features 45 solar panels located on top of The Westin's parking garage, as well as 1,350 evacuated tubes. The storage tank was crated, shipped and arrived at the hotel in a collapsible form.
