ZebaSolar Pvt. Ltd. India Lands 10 MW Solar Project In Gujarat

ZebaSolar Pvt. Ltd. India, an 85% subsidiary of ZebaSolar Inc. USA, says it has been selected as one of the allotted companies for India's first major allocation of solar farms in the state of Gujarat.

The 743 MW award of solar concessions thus far is the largest in India, according to the company. The Gujarat PV project involves an investment of 35 million euros on the part of ZebaSolar India. This plant will have an annual power production of 16.37 million kWh and a franchised operation term of 25 years.

‘The project is expected to start construction within five months and will be completed within the six following months, coming online in mid-2010 and supplying the state with clean and efficient solar power,’ says Majid Khan, director of ZebaSolar India.
