Germany-headquartered Deger has delivered 1,161 of its DEGERtraker 5000NT tracking systems to a series of solar projects in Spain.
The customer is Alternativa Energetica 3000 (AE3000), which has purchased and installed 3,100 Deger systems in recent years. Between 2004 and 2008, AE3000 built several solar parks in Spain and installed 3,100 units from Deger. In the following years, the Spanish market slowed due to uncertainties regarding feed-in tariffs and political conditions.
Now, AE3000 has placed a follow-up order with Deger for several new solar parks in the northern Spanish region of Catalonia, near the city of Lleida.
