Ross Solar, a Con Edison Solutions company, has completed the last of four commercial rooftop solar installations totaling about 4.2 MW for Jetro Restaurant Depot, with the final installation occurring at Jetro’s Maspeth facility in Queens, N.Y.

Comprised of 2,274 SunPower X-series solar panels, the Maspeth installation alone is expected to generate 921,230 kWh of clean electricity per year and joins three previous installations at Jetro’s Bronx, College Point, and Port Chester facilities in New York.

“Solar is an important component of our long-term strategy, helping us to reduce operational expenses and remain competitive, while underscoring our commitment as a responsible corporate partner to grow renewable energy,” says Jetro Chief Operating Officer Peter Claro.

“Jetro’s dedication to investing in clean energy has been nothing short of exemplary. We thank them for the repeated trust they’ve shown in us to help them reach their sustainability goals, and we look forward to working with them again in the future,” says Josh Ross, of Ross Solar/Con Edison Solutions.
