SolaRack, a U.S. solar racking manufacturer, has announced the availability of its standoff waterproofing product, SolaSeal.
Touted as the first standoff waterproofing base built specifically for the solar industry, SolaSeal is designed to be deployed on flat roof applications such as torch-down, rolled asphalt shingles and thermoplastic polyolefin (better known as TPO), the company says.
“The advantages of using SolaSeal are long in coming, and the return on investment for solar installers is immediate,” says Moti Atia, CEO of SolaRack.
Atia says the rectangular-shaped product, which comes in one piece, uses 18% less sealant than competing products, offering “a significant savings opportunity for installers.”
