SolarPower Restoration Systems Inc. and SBM Solar Inc. have formed a strategic alliance to develop and manufacturer new photovoltaic systems for commercial and residential roofing and walls.
SolarPower Restoration Systems specializes in advanced solar-to-building attachment and application techniques based on its SolarSeal Technologies solutions. SBM Solar Inc. has developed a non-glass solar module using a metal-polymer-metal composite with high-efficiency crystalline silicon cells and a new advanced polymer top surface.
Combining SBM's top-surface polymer with a closed-corrugated or honeycombed-composite panel results in a very rigid, lightweight and cooler-operating PV module, the companies say.
