ET Solar Group Corp., an integrated manufacturer of photovoltaic products, has appointed Dr. Jeff Lu its new chief technology officer, focusing on product commercialization, quality control and improvement.
Immediately before joining ET Solar, Lu worked at Daystar Technologies as its senior director of product development, focusing on the development of GICS solar cells and modules for three years. Prior to that, he functioned as the director of operations at Advanced Photonic Integrated Circuits, where he was mainly responsible for the development of solar concentrators. Furthermore, Lu holds six pending PV patents on efficiency improvement, module manufacturing and encapsulation materials.
