Quick Mount PV, a U.S. manufacturer of watertight solar roof mounting and racking systems, is doubling its manufacturing production.
For the first time, the company is adding a second shift at its Walnut Creek, Calif., manufacturing facility – increasing the company’s annual production capacity to 1.2 GW.
The news comes on the heels of the company’s announcement to also expand on the East Coast. A new 10,000-square-foot warehouse and training center in Pompano Beach, Fla., will supply the fast-growing Florida solar market and host installer trainings for the region.
“Installers understand that quality racking and mounting is critical to the long-term success of rooftop solar; that recognition is what is powering our expansion,” says Yann Brandt, Quick Mount PV’s president. “In addition, our training and support help bring down the costs for the consumer.”
