SatCon Technology Corp. says it will increase manufacturing capacity by 50% in the third quarter of 2008, representing an additional 20% over original plans developed to address growth in the European and Asian markets.
The expanded production will focus on the company's 500 kW and 225 kW PowerGate Plus solar PV inverters, SatCon says. SatCon also recently introduced its 1.2 MW and 2.4 MW PowerGate fuel cell inverters.
