SOLV Deploys QOS O&M Software For 1 GW Solar Portfolio

SOLV, an independent solar operations and maintenance (O&M) service provider, has begun deployment of QOS Energy’s Qantum software to monitor and support the O&M of over 1 GW of solar projects in the U.S.

According to QOS Energy, Qantum is a cloud-based analytics platform that will allow SOLV to harness the power of the data generated by the multiple solar installations the O&M company manages on behalf of renewable energy project owners. QOS Energy adds that Qantum is a hardware-agnostic energy management SaaS platform that gathers data from any wind or solar plant monitoring system, such as databases, SCADA or data acquisition systems, including data from trackers, hybrid plants or storage facilities. Qantum collects and transforms the data into comprehensive, next-stage analytics, which will enable SOLV to identify performance issues quickly and accurately.

“Thanks to Qantum’s unmatched intelligence capabilities, SOLV can visualize, understand, streamline and maximize global operational performance using a simple Web browser,” adds Franck Le Breton, CEO at QOS Energy.

“We operate and maintain on behalf of our clients a broad and diverse PV portfolio that requires industry-leading plant management skills,” says Adam Snyder, product manager at SOLV, a division of contractor Swinerton Renewable Energy. “The solution provided by QOS Energy can integrate any type of data, which is a powerful and truly unique capability in the market. We can now track asset performance with greater efficiency, and, in turn, provide optimum value to our clients.”
