Standard Solar Inc., a provider of full-service development, installation and financing of solar electric systems for commercial, government and residential customers, has completed a series of solar projects on municipal buildings in Prince Georges County, Md. The projects include installations at the Bladensburg and Cottage City police departments and several town Hall buildings.
The projects represent more than 144 kW of solar energy systems across nine buildings. The systems are expected to save the cities nearly $30,000 on electricity and generate over $50,000 per year through the sale of Solar Renewable Energy Credits, according to Standard Solar.
