Xantrex Technology Inc. has signed a supply agreement with Sun Edison LLC for commercial three-phase solar power inverters in various sizes to be installed in SunEdison solar projects over the next 12 months.
‘We are delighted to move forward with this strategic partnership with SunEdison,’ says Mossadiq S. Umedaly, chairman of Xantrex. ‘This relationship will put Xantrex inverters into major commercial, government and utility sites across North America.’
SunEdison has been using Xantrex commercial grid-tie solar inverters for the past year, following an initial purchase order for the Alamosa project in late 2006.
