Cool Earth Solar, a SunPower Commercial Dealer, has completed a 196 kW solar power system at 580 Executive Center in Dublin, Calif.
The company says the fully-integrated SunPower Helix Carport system will provide energy to 580 Executive Center, which is a co-working space that features executive suites and virtual offices for business professionals in the area. The project also included LEDs attached to the carport to provide superior lighting in the parking lot. The solar system is expected to pay for itself in under five years and save the center more than $2.7 million over the life of the system.
“The 580 Executive Center was a perfect candidate for solar,” says Rob Lamkin, Cool Earth Solar CEO. “Their large parking lot, high energy consumption, and ability to take advantage of the solar tax credit will enable them to reduce their electricity bill and free up capital for their business.”
