Hecate Energy LLC has announced a new solar agreement with Google, facilitating new renewable energy investments in Texas.
Google will purchase 250 MW AC of clean, renewable electricity from new Hecate Energy solar facilities in Texas. Hecate plans to invest $275 million in the new projects.

“Sustainability has been one of Google’s core values from our earliest days, and a cornerstone of our related efforts is our commitment to clean energy,” adds Neha Palmer, director of operations at Google. “Today’s announcement will add new renewable energy to the grids where we consume it, creating new construction jobs and making clean power accessible to nearby communities.”
